Ben je een beginner die net is begonnen met coderen? Als je nog niet eerder aan een hackathon hebt deelgenomen, is dit echt iets voor jou! HACK-O-TOPIA is bedoeld voor ontwikkelaars en aspirant-hackers om de wereld van hackathons te komen ervaren.

Weet je niet hoe je apps moet bouwen? GEEN NOOD! We have your back. HACK-O-TOPIA komt met workshops en tutorials om aan de slag te gaan en apps te bouwen voor de hackathon.

Wat is een Hackathon?

Hackathon is een Sprint-achtig evenement waarin computerprogrammeurs en anderen die betrokken zijn bij software ontwikkeling, waaronder grafisch ontwerpers, interface ontwerpers, projectmanagers en anderen, intensief samenwerken aan een project dat is gericht op het oplossen van een probleem.

Requirements

Wat wordt van jou verwacht?

- Een concept (idee) bedenken / ontwerpen (team)
- het concept beschrijven en toelichten (team) en inleveren (template wordt aangeleverd) (max. 600 woorden)
- het concept presenteren (team)
- 5 minuut presentatie video/pitch
- je doet dit in 2 dagen (team)
- prototype / coding: jouw source code uploaden naar het daarvoor beschikbaar platform en de relevante URL aangeven bij submission. Een simpele readme doc. is nodig hierbij

* Alle projecten geselecteerd door de judges als finalisten zullen "code-reviewed" worden ter confirmatie als de code origineel werk is gemaakt tijdens HACK-O-TOPIA.

  • Creativity/Innovation
    Hoe creatief is jouw idee? Is this project unique? Is this solution a better way of solving the problem?
  • Usefulness & Business Case / Concept feasibility
    Hoe haalbaar is het concept? Is your solution practical? Is your solution a must-have for your target audience? Can you create an effective business case around it?
  • Usability/User Experience
    Is the solution easy to use? Could a user with low to no technical skills use and enjoy using it?
  • Use OPEN APIs and datasets
    Have you effectively used the APIs and datasets available to you?
  • Technical Implementation
    Can your project be implemented to its entirety? Does the solution function as described?
  • Challenge & Industry Impact
    Is your solution fulfilling at least one of the challenges? Is your solution helping solve an industry issue?
